Rockin' Unicorn

I got a request for a pink unicorn and had a "why didn't I think of that?" moment.  It is hard to tell in the picture but the hair is sparkly!

Rockin' Zebra

I finally went ahead and tried this zebra.  I think he turned out so cute!  I won't be doing too many of these little guys because he was pretty time consuming so if you want one order one soon!
I really love the way he turned out.  Now that I've done a zebra and a giraffe what should I do next?

A Little Winter Visitor

Never too early to look forward to cooler temperatures. This "little" guy is actually quite large, made of 6x6 wooden posts and is quite heavy. No worrying about him melting or blowing away. He would add some nice character to your front porch to greet holiday visitors!

Vinyl Boards

These boards can display your stocking for Christmas this year.

Or if you need a Family Home Evening Board.

Another Countdown Idea

These countdowns are great for little fingers who want to be in charge. Just change the numbers each day as the big event gets closer.

Stars

These double layered stars are made of MDF and beadboard. They come in a variety of colors and fabric choices. They would look great hanging on your door and sitting on your mantle or shelf. Stars are great decoration year round.

Countdown Boards

These countdown boards are great for any occasion. Who doesn't love the anticipation of a big event or holiday??!! What makes these boards even better is whats hidden behind the numbers-- chocolate! With everyday you countdown, you get to enjoy a little treat too.

Happy Halloween, Days 'til Summer, Birthday Countdown, Count Your Blessings, Merry Christmas

Vinyl 'n Blocks

We've been having some fun with blocks, paint and vinyl!  These cute pieces can liven up any size of space.  Don't forget that we can customize size, color and even sayings to fit your decor.
It's never too early to think about the next season.
These would be a great wedding, graduation or any occasion gift.
Have a specific color scheme?  We can match it!

3 More Designs!

We got 3 more shelf designs to this stage. The only problem is finishing them. I am a black, brown, red, golden oak fan but I wonder if you are too. What color(s) should we finish these up with? I have about any color of paint and any shade of stain you could imagine. Let me know what you think!

Shelf Names

With so many shelf designs (and more to come!) we decided they needed names in order to keep them all straight. Which one is your favorite?

The Santa Fe (48")

The Jackson (36")

The Hartford (36") unfinished

The Topeka (36")

The Albany (48")

Another Santa Fe (36") with 3 drawers and antiqued

The Bismark

The Helena

The Santa Fe (48") with 4 drawer fronts

These are just a few examples of what we have done. They, of course, can be customized to fit your decor and taste. Many have drawers that work or just the drawer fronts. I am really excited about the Phoenix, Richmond, and the Lansing that are in the works right now.

Spring Craft Fair

We have another Craft Fair coming up soon! The Blooming Spring Bazaar sponsored by Angels Among Us will be April 21, 2012 at the Machine Shop in Evanston. Feel free to place orders now and pick them up there! Remember any project can be customized to you!

Horse Puzzle

We came across this pattern in a scroll saw magazine and had to try it. It was fun to do and our kids have enjoyed playing with it too. They stand at almost 8" tall. We used oak for one and pine for another. I think the oak one will look great stained and am debating about painting the other. What do you think?

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday season but now that they are over I can concentrate on the blog again. I have missed "seeing" you guys. One of my New Year's resolutions is to stay more organized. I love the feeling of having a place for everything and everything in it's place. A perfect way to do that and decorate the house at the same time is with these shelves. Here are a few examples but you can customize one that would match your own taste and decor.

Glossy Barn Red with working drawers and pegs. This one was a special order that also has a small piece of wood running along the top so the proud owner can prop pictures up.
